The time has come and the windows at 124 Main Street will no longer be available to post Area Events.  The building will have new tenants moving in soon.  Thanks to all of you for making this a success – we have posted 411 posters during that last 19 months.

We thank Dianne Kull for her initial help and donation of the outside window identification Area Events.  Also thanks is extended to Cindy Falk for her on-going assistance and of course, Tom Lagan, owner of the building and making the job easy.

If you would like to continue sending a PDF of your events, I’ll continue to print and post around the Village of Cooperstown. E-mail to

124 Main Street (former TJ’s) is a community gathering place to showcase area events for residents and visitors information and enjoyment .  Not-for-Profit organizations are invited to submit posters about events.  All entries need to be flat, nothing three dimensional. Posters will be displayed in one of the two windows to the left of the entrance on the inside of the window.

Dated posters will be removed after the stated event.  New event posters will be added regularly and no posters returned.

Submissions may be arranged by contacting Rich McCaffery – this is the best approach, as is this: NEW – if you would like to e-mail me a PDF that fits on 8.5” x 11” paper this works and I’ll print.  You may also deliver your poster(s) to any of these Cooperstown businesses: Bruce Hall Corp, 206 Main Street, Church & Scott Pharmacy, 5396 State Highway 28, Connell, Dow & Deysenroth Funeral Home, 82 Chestnut Street or Lamb Realty, 20 Chestnut Street.

If you would send me an e-mail/facebook message after you drop off your posters at any of the above businesses, it would be appreciated and expedite the window posting.

For more information and any questions, contact Rich McCaffery at or 547-5256.
